The pilgrimage continues

I started 2019 by going on a pilgrimage. I drove from Fargo to Dallas to meet Father David Rosebery, an Anglican priest, and his wife, Fran. They were my hosts and leaders of a pilgrimage for 70 people to Israel. Although I had never met them, they welcomed me into their home. They were a miracle blessing. They sharpened and encouraged me in a way I will forever be grateful for.

What does compassion in our home look like?

There are two actions that our children, family and friends need from us. The great news is that God longs to pour both of these actions into our lives. And as he does, we can consistently contribute these actions into the lives of our children, family and friends.

The light is on, are you home?

The New Testament of the Bible includes four books, written by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, that are first-hand accounts of the life of Jesus Christ. The Bible isn’t just a bunch of stories, it is a book full of history written by real people who lived at specific times and places. John was the youngest of the twelve disciples, and historians believe the only one to die of natural causes from old age. He wrote his book at an old age, so he experienced more history than the other three writers.
